No-Carve Pumpkin Decorating

Pumpkin carving is a great Halloween activity but isn’t suitable for all ages. So if you have very tiny tots and don’t want to get into the mess of pumpkin carving, you could just stick to decorating the pumpkins!

One idea is to buy an assortment of sweets and design faces on your pumpkins. A wagon wheel or liquorice swirl for the eyes, a marshmallow for nose and a stawberry lace for the mouth (or something to this effect!).

If you’re feeling a little more creative (and don’t mind the mess) you could get the paints and felt tip pens out and simply draw on the pumpkins. Turn your pumpkin into a spooky ghost, paint on some bats or stick on cardboard ears and turn it into a cat! This activity doesn’t require as much supervision, so you can relax a little whilst they let their creative juices flow…

There are loads of inspirational ideas for no-carve pumpkin decoarting on the internet, so have a google or head over to my pintrest Halloween board for my best picks.

Happy halloween!
